Hinsdale, Illinois

Hinsdale is located 21 miles west of Chicago. Hinsdale offers natural beauty, hometown charm, and a friendly community atmosphere.

Originally called Brush Hill and later Fullersburg, Hinsdale can trace its history back more than a century. Pioneers seeking higher ground came west from the shores of Lake Michigan, following the old Black Hawk Indian Trail. Hinsdale eventually became a railroad suburb where families could escape the city.

Today, Hinsdale’s picturesque main street features trendy boutiques, thriving businesses, and up and coming restaurants. Most importantly, some of Chicago’s finest wedding businesses are located right on Washington Street, thus making your planning easy and enjoyable.
