Toni Sweets is a European-style patisserie in downtown Hinsdale. Toni, a pastry chef who perfected her craft as executive pastry chef at Chicago’s Mayfair Regent Hotel and Le Ciel Bleu, opened her shop in 1994 after a three-year tour of bakery duty in France.
All of Toni’s cakes are made with the freshest ingredients, European-style butter cream and the finest Belgian and French chocolates. And with an assortment of flavors, fillings and looks, the only problem is finding which flavors you can live without!
Toni Marie Cox is an artist, a pastry chef, and a proprietress. Toni completed her BA in fine arts from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Afterwards, Toni applied her talents to the culinary world. She notably honed her artistry as Executive Pastry Chef at Chicago’s elegant Mayfair Regent Hotel and Le Ciel Bleu. Disney sought out her talents to open The Disneyland Hotel, Paris.
In 1994, after three years in France, Toni returned and began to supply the Hinsdale area with her fabulous treats. Her experience, style, and artistry are evident in the jewel-like pastries and cakes created, as well as the superb savory offerings.
